Born in Kolkata, Shreya Dev Dube studied photography in Melbourne before training as a cinematographer at EICAR, Paris. She is now based in Mumbai.
Her feature debut, Cat Sticks, a black-and-white film directed by Ronny Sen, premiered at Slamdance Film Festival in 2019, where it won the Grand Jury Prize. She went on to shoot and produce Karishma Dev Dube's short film Bittu, which premiered at Telluride Film Festival and was shortlisted for the 93rd Academy Awards. In 2022, she served as one of two cinematographers on Mira Nair's BBC series A Suitable Boy. She recently worked on Mira Nair’s latest feature film AMRI, which will be releasing in 2027.
